ReceiptRally

ReceiptRally is a mobile app that helps people who hate budgeting still control day-to-day spending. Instead of forcing bank connections and category micromanagement, it focuses on the “messy middle”: receipts, quick purchases, and cash/card taps that add up. Users snap receipts (or forward emailed ones), and the app extracts items, merchant, and totals, then builds a simple weekly “spend runway” and highlights the top 3 leaks (e.g., snacks, convenience stores, delivery fees). It also supports lightweight rules like “flag any purchase over $30 at pharmacies” and a weekly review that takes under 5 minutes. It’s realistic: it won’t perfectly capture everything, but it will catch enough to change behavior. Monetization is a low-cost subscription with optional employer/benefits partnerships.
