RecGuard

RecGuard is a web app (with optional Slack alerts) that continuously monitors your recommendation system in production and flags when it quietly degrades. Instead of focusing on model training, it watches real-world outcomes: CTR, add-to-cart, conversion, revenue per session, diversity, and repeat-rate—segmented by device, region, traffic source, and new vs returning users. It detects drift (catalog changes, seasonality, price shifts), data pipeline issues (missing events, delayed logs), and “silent failures” (recs stuck on popular items, zero-personalization). You set guardrails and business KPIs, then RecGuard runs automated canary checks, compares against baselines, and produces incident-style reports with likely root causes and suggested fixes (e.g., reindex embeddings, rollback a feature flag, retrain schedule). It’s realistic: it won’t magically fix your model, but it will stop you from flying blind.
