Reciept

Reciept is a mobile + web app that only lets you post a “verified” review if you can prove you actually watched, played, or listened. Users connect accounts (Netflix/Disney+/Steam/PlayStation/Spotify/Apple TV where possible) or upload a lightweight proof (watch history screenshot, ticket email, purchase receipt). Reviews are then labeled Verified or Unverified, with filters that let people hide unverified takes entirely. The app focuses on practical discovery: short structured ratings (story, pacing, acting, replay value) plus a one-line “who it’s for” statement. It also highlights suspicious patterns (review bombs, sudden rating swings) without pretending to be perfect. Brutal reality: integrations will be messy, some platforms won’t cooperate, and moderation is non-trivial. But even partial verification is a meaningful upgrade over today’s easily gamed review ecosystems.
