RecordRadar is a web app (with optional email add-on) that helps journalists, watchdog nonprofits, and small law firms manage public records requests end-to-end across agencies. It centralizes requests, deadlines, fees, communications, and document deliveries in one place, then auto-generates polite but firm follow-ups and escalation letters based on jurisdiction rules. The AI component classifies incoming emails/attachments, extracts key dates and fee estimates, and flags when an agency is stalling or missing statutory timelines. A lightweight “agency profile” database lets teams reuse known submission methods, portals, and common exemptions. This is not a magic FOIA button: it won’t force compliance. It simply reduces the administrative grind, improves consistency, and creates an audit trail that makes it easier to escalate, appeal, or litigate when needed.
