RecoupRadar is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps creators and small labels detect common royalty “leaks” tied to recoupment, reserves, and deductions. Users upload royalty statements (PDF/CSV) from distributors, publishers, or labels, then the app normalizes line items into a consistent schema and highlights anomalies: unusually high reserves, perpetual recoupment with no movement, duplicate deductions, territory mismatches, and missing rate changes after contract amendments. It generates a plain-English discrepancy report and a checklist of questions to send to the payer, plus a timeline of recoupment progress by project. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI is used for statement parsing and anomaly detection, while the core value is deterministic reconciliation rules and transparent calculations. It won’t magically “win” disputes, but it will quickly surface issues worth challenging and save hours of spreadsheet work.
