RECProof

RECProof is a web app (with optional mobile capture) that helps renewable credit buyers and sellers assemble audit-ready evidence packs for each REC transaction. Instead of trying to replace registries or trading platforms, it focuses on the messy middle: contracts, registry screenshots/exports, meter attestations, EAC certificates, retirement confirmations, and chain-of-custody notes. Users create a “claim file” per reporting period, upload or forward documents, and map each file to a specific sustainability claim (scope, geography, market-based method, product line). The app runs rules-based checks (and lightweight AI extraction) to flag missing artifacts, inconsistent volumes, mismatched facility IDs, and date gaps. It then generates a standardized, shareable evidence bundle for auditors, customers, or internal compliance. This is not glamorous, but it reduces weeks of spreadsheet wrangling and lowers the risk of embarrassing claim disputes.
