RecSlot is a mobile + web app for community recreation centers to publish real-time court/field/lane availability and let residents reserve, pay, and check in instantly. Most centers still run on paper schedules, PDFs, or front-desk calls, which creates wasted capacity, frustrated residents, and staff burnout. RecSlot focuses on the unglamorous but valuable basics: live availability, simple rules (resident/non-resident pricing, prime-time limits), automated waitlists, and no-show handling. It also includes a lightweight staff console to block time for maintenance, leagues, or events, plus basic reporting on utilization and revenue. This is not a “social sports” app; it’s operational plumbing for small facilities that can’t afford enterprise systems. Monetization is straightforward: monthly SaaS per facility plus a small payment processing markup (or flat fee).
