RecurLock
RecurLock is a mobile + web digital banking companion that finds, explains, and helps you cancel recurring charges across your accounts. It connects via open-banking to detect subscriptions, free trials, and “silent renewals,” then shows a plain-English timeline of when each charge started, how often it hits, and the merchant’s cancellation path. The app generates one-tap actions: cancel links, email templates, and calendar reminders before renewal. For merchants that make cancellation painful, RecurLock can create a virtual card “lock” rule that blocks future charges after a chosen date (where supported). It also flags price hikes and duplicate subscriptions across family members. This is a traditional app with light AI: AI is used to classify merchants, infer subscription terms from transaction patterns, and summarize cancellation steps. It’s not magic—coverage depends on bank connectivity and merchant data quality.
