Users snap photos of items (plastics, metals, composites, packaging) and optionally add quick context (magnet test, weight, location, resin code if present). The app returns a confidence-ranked material guess, contamination warnings (labels, food residue, mixed layers), and the best local handling option based on the user’s facility rules and municipality guidelines. For businesses, it generates simple audit reports: top contamination sources, estimated diversion rate, and training checklists for staff. This is not a lab-grade analyzer; it’s a practical decision tool that reduces “wish-cycling” and costly rejected loads. The product focuses on operational workflows: shift handoffs, bin signage, and exception handling when confidence is low.
