RedactOps

RedactOps is a web app + lightweight gateway service that sits between your application and any LLM provider to automatically detect and redact sensitive data (PII/PHI/secrets) before it leaves your network. It provides policy-based redaction (mask, hash, tokenize, drop), per-field allowlists, and environment-specific rules so dev/staging can be looser than prod. It also generates “replayable” sanitized traces so teams can debug prompt issues without exposing customer data. The product includes a prompt-safe logger, structured metadata capture, and a rules test harness so developers can prove a prompt change won’t leak emails, phone numbers, access tokens, or internal IDs. This is not a generic observability dashboard; it’s a compliance and risk-control layer designed for teams shipping LLM features under real legal/security constraints. Expect some initial friction: getting teams to route traffic through a gateway requires buy-in and careful rollout.
