RedactRelay

RedactRelay is a web app + CLI that scans what teams actually send outside the company—support tickets, outbound emails, Slack exports, CSV uploads, and API payload logs—to detect and block accidental PII/PHI disclosure. It plugs into common workflows (Zendesk, Intercom, Gmail/Google Workspace, Slack, S3, Snowflake) and runs lightweight checks in CI/CD and at the “send/export” moment. The product focuses on privacy engineering reality: most leaks come from humans copying data into the wrong place, not from exotic hacks. It provides configurable detectors (names, emails, SSNs, addresses, health terms), redaction suggestions, and an audit trail for compliance. An optional AI component classifies “sensitive context” (e.g., medical notes) and proposes safe summaries, but the core enforcement is deterministic and explainable. Expect some false positives early; the value is reducing high-impact mistakes and proving controls exist.
