RedactRelay

RedactRelay is a web app (with optional desktop sync) for teams that constantly share documents containing PII, PHI, or financial identifiers. Users upload PDFs, DOCX, or scanned images; the app detects sensitive fields, proposes redactions, and produces a locked, shareable version with an audit trail. It also generates a “redaction report” that lists what was removed and why, without exposing the underlying data. The focus is not being a full document repository; it’s a fast pre-sharing gate that reduces accidental leaks. It integrates with Google Drive, OneDrive, and Dropbox so teams can redact in place and keep original files where they already live. Realistically, accuracy won’t be perfect on day one, so the MVP emphasizes human review, repeatable templates, and defensible logs over magical automation.
