RedlineRelay is a web app (with optional Google Docs and Microsoft Word add-ins) that turns messy editing cycles into a structured, auditable workflow. It imports a document, runs AI-assisted proofreading and consistency checks (names, terms, style rules), then produces a “redline packet” with suggested edits grouped by issue type and severity. Editors can accept/reject changes, add comments, and generate a clean version plus a tracked-changes version for clients. The key is approvals: stakeholders can review only the changes relevant to them (legal, brand, technical) and sign off with a simple checklist. It also maintains a project glossary and style rules so future edits stay consistent. This isn’t a magical writing assistant; it’s a practical editing operations tool that reduces rework, missed changes, and endless email threads.
