ReefPermit
ReefPermit is a web + mobile app that helps marine parks, tour operators, and researchers manage reef access permits, site rules, and compliance evidence in one place. Operators submit trip plans, passenger counts, and site selections; the system flags conflicts with closures, carrying-capacity limits, and seasonal restrictions. Rangers get a lightweight field mode to verify permits offline, log incidents, and attach geo-tagged photos. The app also generates audit-ready reports for agencies and insurers, reducing paperwork and “lost in email” approvals. This is a traditional app with a small AI layer that auto-classifies photo evidence (e.g., anchoring violations, coral contact) and drafts incident summaries, but it does not pretend to “save reefs” with vague analytics. The value is operational: fewer illegal visits, faster approvals, and clearer accountability.
