ReelRights Ledger

ReelRights Ledger is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) for indie producers and post teams to track every third‑party asset used in a film—music cues, stock footage, archival stills, brand appearances, artwork, and scripted references—and tie each item to its clearance status, contract files, territory/term limits, and deliverable requirements. The core value is a “distribution-ready” rights package: a clean chain-of-title checklist, cue sheet exports, and a red-flag dashboard that shows what will block a festival submission, broadcaster delivery, or AVOD upload. This is a combination traditional + AI app. AI is used narrowly and realistically: it can parse uploaded license PDFs to extract key fields (term, territory, media, carve-outs), and it can scan edit decision lists (EDL) or timecoded notes to reconcile what’s actually in the cut versus what’s cleared. It won’t magically do legal work; it just reduces the admin burden and prevents expensive last-minute surprises. Monetization is straightforward SaaS per project or per company, with add-ons for storage, collaborator seats, and export templates for common deliverables (Netflix-style packages, broadcaster spec variants).
