ReelRoom is a web app with a companion mobile app that helps creators reliably book production resources (local studios, rentable gear kits, vetted editors) with transparent pricing and standardized deliverables. The core problem: creators waste hours coordinating via DMs, get flaky freelancers, and have unclear scopes that cause rework and missed posting windows. ReelRoom solves this with a marketplace that behaves more like “booking software” than a generic gig platform: fixed packages (e.g., “2-hour podcast studio + engineer,” “10 TikTok edits in 72 hours”), availability calendars, deposits, and a built-in handoff workflow for assets. It’s a combination traditional + AI app: AI helps creators generate a precise creative brief from a few prompts and sample links, and helps vendors propose a package with clear deliverables. The app also enforces simple operational rules (cancellation policies, revision limits, turnaround SLAs) so both sides know what they’re buying. This is not a glamorous idea, but it’s practical: creators increasingly treat content like a production line, and operational friction is the real bottleneck once they have an audience.
