ReentryAtlas

ReentryAtlas is a web app (with optional mobile alerts) that helps satellite operators, insurers, journalists, and emergency planners visualize and monitor predicted reentry corridors and uncertainty footprints for decaying objects. It ingests public TLEs and decay models, then produces a map-first view of likely ground tracks, time windows, and confidence bands, with clear caveats about uncertainty. Users can set geofenced watch areas (cities, shipping lanes, critical infrastructure) and receive alerts when probability thresholds are crossed. The product is brutally pragmatic: it won’t “tell you where it will land” with fake precision; it will show ranges, assumptions, and model drift over time. A lightweight reporting export (PDF/CSV) supports internal comms and compliance documentation. The MVP focuses on a small set of high-value objects and reliable alerting rather than trying to be a full space situational awareness platform.
