RefCheckr

RefCheckr is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that lets job seekers run a realistic “reference check rehearsal” before an employer does. You invite 2–5 references, they answer a short, structured questionnaire (role fit, strengths, concerns, rehire, reliability) and optionally record a 60–90 second audio response. The app uses AI to summarize themes, flag red-flag phrasing, and suggest specific coaching actions (e.g., which projects to remind a reference about, what title/date inconsistencies to fix, and which reference is best for which role). It also provides a clean, shareable “Reference Packet” you can send to recruiters: contact info, relationship context, and pre-approved talking points—without faking anything. This is not a magic job-getter; it’s a risk-reduction tool for late-stage candidates where one weak reference can kill an offer.
