RefCheckr is a web app (with optional mobile-friendly links) that automates reference checks without turning them into a spammy, low-trust survey. Recruiters send candidates a secure link to nominate references; references complete a structured, role-specific questionnaire plus short audio answers, and the system chases non-responders with polite, scheduled nudges. An AI layer summarizes responses into a consistent scorecard, flags contradictions, and highlights risk signals (e.g., vague tenure, reluctance to rehire) while keeping raw responses available for audit. It integrates with common ATS tools so teams can trigger checks at the right stage and store results in the candidate record. This is not a magic “truth detector”; it’s a workflow tool that reduces drop-off, speeds decisions, and standardizes what is otherwise a messy, manual process that often gets skipped or rushed.
