RefillRanger is a mobile app that helps parents find nearby refill and bulk stations for kid-related essentials: shampoo/body wash, hand soap, laundry detergent, sunscreen, diaper cream, and cleaning products. It combines a map of verified refill locations with a “kid-safety” filter based on ingredient red flags (fragrance allergens, harsh preservatives, etc.) and container compatibility tips (what bottles/jars work, how to label, how to sanitize). Users can save a shopping list, see price-per-oz estimates, and get reminders when staples typically run out. The app also supports community updates: parents can report whether a station is actually operating, what products are available today, and whether staff allow outside containers. It’s not glamorous, and coverage will start thin—so the MVP must focus on a few metro areas and be brutally accurate rather than “nationwide” but wrong.
