RefReady

RefReady is a mobile + web app that helps youth and school leagues recruit, train, and schedule referees/umpires while reducing no-shows and inconsistent rule enforcement. The core is a short, sport-specific microlearning track (rules, positioning, signals, safety) followed by quick quizzes and a simple certification badge that leagues can require before assigning games. Assignors can post games, set pay rates, and auto-match officials based on availability, distance, age requirements, and certification level. Built-in confirmations, reminders, and a last-minute “open game” marketplace reduce scramble texting. After games, coaches can submit structured feedback (sportsmanship + professionalism) that rolls into a private reliability score for assignors. This is not a fan app; it’s operational software aimed at the least-supported but most critical role in youth sports: officials.
