RefReady is a mobile + web app that helps amateur and youth leagues reliably staff referees/umpires and reduce last-minute cancellations. Assignors post games with location, level, pay, and rules; officials claim slots, confirm availability, and get automated reminders. The app tracks reliability (late cancels, no-shows, on-time check-ins) and suggests backup officials based on proximity and history. Built-in payments (with optional instant payout) and standardized game reports make it easier to run a season without endless texting. It also includes a lightweight incident/report workflow (injuries, ejections) and a “rule set” attachment per league so officials aren’t guessing. This is not glamorous, but it targets the operational bottleneck that routinely causes games to be delayed, rescheduled, or played without proper officiating.
