RefReady is a mobile + web app that helps recreational leagues actually staff and manage referees/umpires without the usual last-minute scrambling. Captains and league admins post games, required certifications, pay rate, and location. Officials claim assignments, get automated reminders, in-app navigation, and a simple check-in/out that triggers payout. The app tracks reliability (no-shows, late arrivals, completion rate) and builds a lightweight “official profile” leagues can trust. For leagues, it provides a single schedule view, broadcast messaging for weather/cancellations, and a dispute log so issues don’t live in group chats. It’s not trying to be a full league-management suite; it focuses on the one operational bottleneck that repeatedly ruins games: finding and retaining officials. AI is used sparingly for schedule conflict detection and smart matching, not gimmicky highlight reels.
