RefReady is a mobile app (with an optional web dashboard) that helps amateur leagues and pickup groups resolve rules disputes fast without derailing the game. Users select sport + league ruleset (e.g., NFHS basketball, local softball house rules), then ask a question in plain language or choose from quick scenarios (foul types, substitutions, offsides, tie-breakers). The app returns a short ruling, the exact rule citation, and a 10-second “explain it like I’m on the field” summary. Captains can save a shared “house rules” pack for their group and lock it for the season to prevent mid-game arguing. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI handles natural-language questions and scenario matching, while curated rule packs ensure accuracy. It’s not trying to replace refs; it’s a dispute de-escalation tool for games that don’t have them.
