RefurbRadar helps shoppers avoid overpaying for refurbished and open-box items by tracking real price history and condition risk across major retailers and marketplaces. You paste a product link (or scan a barcode in-store), and the app normalizes listings into comparable “condition tiers” (open-box, certified refurb, seller refurb, used-like-new) and shows a clean chart of price trends, typical discount ranges, and return/warranty differences. It flags common gotchas: missing accessories, short warranties, restocking fees, and “open-box” listings priced higher than new during promos. You can set alerts for target prices and for “better deal found new” events when new items drop below refurb. This is a mobile + web app, and it’s a combination traditional + AI app (AI for listing normalization and risk flags).
