RegionLens
RegionLens is a web + mobile mapping app that overlays administrative boundaries (country, state/province, county/municipality, wards) with clear provenance: who defines the boundary, when it was last updated, and what dataset it came from. Users can compare multiple boundary sources side-by-side (government, OSM-derived, commercial, historical) and export the exact version used for audits. It also flags disputed or ambiguous regions (e.g., overlapping claims, special administrative zones, census vs postal vs electoral boundaries) and provides a plain-language “boundary note” you can attach to reports. This is not a consumer map; it’s built for people who get burned by boundary mismatches in analytics, compliance, logistics, and reporting. The MVP focuses on a few high-demand geographies and a tight set of exports rather than pretending to cover the whole world perfectly on day one.
