RegLabWatch
RegLabWatch is a web app (with optional email/Slack alerts) that monitors science-relevant policy and regulatory changes and translates them into concrete “what this means for your lab” checklists. It ingests sources like federal registers, agency guidance pages, funding-agency policy memos, and institutional compliance updates, then maps each update to affected domains (human subjects, animal care, data privacy, export controls, biosafety, AI/ML governance, open-access mandates). An AI layer produces plain-language summaries, risk level, and a short action list, while preserving citations and linking back to primary sources. Users can set profiles by country, agency, research area, and institution type, then get a weekly digest plus urgent alerts for high-impact changes. Realistically, it won’t replace compliance offices; it’s a triage and early-warning system that saves time and reduces “we missed the memo” incidents.
