RegStatus

RegStatus is a mobile + web app that helps voters verify and monitor their voter registration across states, then alerts them when something changes or a deadline is approaching. Users pick their state, enter minimal identity details, and the app guides them through the official lookup flow (or deep-links to the correct government portal when direct lookup isn’t available). It stores a privacy-first “status snapshot” (registered/not found, precinct, party where applicable) and runs periodic re-check reminders so users catch purges, address mismatches, or missing ID requirements early. The app also generates a personalized checklist: what to bring, where to update address, and key dates based on the user’s county. This is not a magic one-click registration tool—many states won’t allow it—but it’s a practical, high-trust layer that reduces confusion and last-minute panic.
