RelateRitual

RelateRitual is a mobile app (with optional web dashboard) that helps couples build emotional intimacy through short, structured “micro-rituals” that take 3–7 minutes. Instead of open-ended journaling or vague prompts, it guides partners through a timed sequence: one person shares, the other mirrors back, then both choose a small action for the next 24 hours. The app focuses on consistency and safety: it detects escalating tone in typed messages, pauses the exercise, and redirects to a de-escalation script. It also includes a “Repair Mode” for after arguments, with step-by-step apologies and needs statements. The AI component personalizes rituals based on what actually gets completed (not what users say they want) and flags patterns like chronic avoidance or one-sided effort. This is not therapy, but it’s closer to practical relationship training than most feel-good apps.
