ReleaseRadar

ReleaseRadar is a web app (with optional mobile companion) for documentary teams to manage releases, rights, and consent across a chaotic production. It centralizes appearance releases, location releases, archival licenses, music rights, and sensitive-subject consent into one searchable system tied to scenes, interviews, and footage IDs. Crews can capture signatures on set, attach IDs, store contact details, set usage restrictions (territory, term, media), and generate a “what can we legally use” report for editors and distributors. It also tracks expirations and missing paperwork, and produces delivery-ready packets for broadcasters/streamers. This is not glamorous, but it’s the stuff that derails docs late in post. The app is a traditional workflow tool with light AI assistance for extracting key fields from PDFs/photos and flagging risky gaps (e.g., no release for a recognizable minor).
