ReliefRoster is a mobile + web app that helps humanitarian NGOs fill urgent, short-term staffing gaps with pre-vetted local and remote volunteers. Instead of broad “volunteer boards” that generate noise, it focuses on operational roles NGOs actually struggle to staff fast: translators, call-center intake, logistics coordinators, data entry for beneficiary lists, and monitoring & evaluation support. NGOs post structured tasks with required skills, time windows, and verification level; volunteers maintain a skills profile and availability, then get matched to tasks with clear expectations and handoff checklists. The platform includes lightweight identity checks, reference verification, and role-based access to sensitive data. It also provides basic compliance guardrails (data minimization, consent templates) to reduce accidental harm. This is not a feel-good donation app; it’s a pragmatic staffing tool designed for speed, accountability, and lower coordination overhead during crises.
