RemitRecon is a web app (with optional lightweight mobile companion) that automates the most painful part of B2B payments: figuring out what a payment was for. It ingests bank transactions and payment notifications, pulls invoice data from your accounting system, and uses AI to match deposits to open invoices—even when remittance info is missing, truncated, or emailed as a PDF. The app flags exceptions, suggests matches with confidence scores, and creates an audit trail your finance team can trust. It also generates standardized remittance requests to customers and provides a customer portal to submit remittance details in a structured format. This is not a “replace your ERP” pitch; it’s a narrow tool that reduces manual cash application work, shortens days-to-cash visibility, and cuts write-offs caused by misapplied payments.
