RenoScope

RenoScope is a web + mobile AI-assisted app that converts a homeowner’s room photos, a rough budget, and a few preferences into a practical renovation “scope of work” package. It outputs a line-item checklist (demo, framing, MEP, finishes), rough quantities, a phased timeline, and a contractor-ready bid sheet you can export as PDF. The app also flags common code/permit triggers (e.g., moving plumbing, structural walls) with clear “ask your pro” notes to avoid pretending it’s a licensed designer. Users can compare multiple scope versions (budget vs. mid-range) and track decisions to reduce change orders. This is not a full CAD/BIM tool; it’s a pre-design scoping and documentation assistant that helps people stop wasting weeks getting vague quotes and miscommunicating expectations.
