RepliGuard
RepliGuard is a web app (with optional lightweight desktop/agent installers) that continuously validates database replication health by running synthetic, end-to-end checks instead of relying only on vendor metrics. It writes tiny canary transactions, verifies they arrive on replicas within SLO, and confirms data correctness (row counts, checksums, schema compatibility) across Postgres, MySQL, and managed services. It correlates replication lag with upstream causes like long-running transactions, vacuum/autovacuum pressure, network jitter, or replica IO saturation, then produces actionable runbooks and alerts. This is not a “pretty dashboard” product; it focuses on reducing incident time and preventing silent divergence. It supports multi-region setups, blue/green cutovers, and planned failovers by simulating failover readiness and reporting blast radius. Pricing targets teams that already pay for monitoring but still get surprised by replication edge cases.
