ReportTrail is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams integration) that turns scattered organizational updates into a consistent, auditable transparency feed. Teams submit lightweight weekly “proof-of-work” updates tied to goals, metrics, and decisions; the app auto-builds stakeholder-ready reports and a searchable timeline of what was promised vs. what shipped. It includes a public/private reporting layer so you can share sanitized progress externally (customers, board, community) while keeping sensitive details internal. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI drafts summaries, flags contradictions, and highlights missing evidence, but humans approve everything. The honest value is reducing performative reporting and making accountability visible. The hard part is adoption—so it’s built to be low-friction: templates, integrations, and a clear “what changed” narrative that leadership can’t ignore.
