ReproSnap

ReproSnap is a web app + lightweight desktop recorder that converts messy bug reports into a shareable, runnable reproduction package. Users record a short session (screen, console logs, network traces, key system info), then the app auto-generates a minimal “repro bundle” with steps, environment fingerprint, and optional Dockerfile/devcontainer config. It integrates with Jira/GitHub Issues/Linear to attach the bundle and keep it updated as the issue evolves. The goal is to cut the back-and-forth that wastes engineering time: “can’t reproduce,” missing logs, wrong versions, unclear steps. This won’t magically solve every bug—complex distributed issues still need expertise—but it can reliably standardize the evidence and environment capture so engineers spend time fixing, not interrogating. Pricing should target teams where one avoided day of debugging pays for a month.
