ResaleShield helps secondhand electronics sellers and small refurbishers create higher-trust listings without expensive tooling. The app generates a “Trust Card” for each device: IMEI/serial capture, basic functional checks (camera, mic, speakers, ports, battery health where available), and a tamper-evident photo set. It then produces a shareable link and marketplace-ready text that highlights verified checks and disclosure notes. Buyers can scan a QR code to view the Trust Card, including timestamped evidence and seller history. This is not magic fraud prevention—bad actors will still exist—but it raises the cost of lying and makes honest sellers stand out. Monetization is per Trust Card or a monthly plan for frequent sellers, with optional add-ons for bulk imports and team workflows.
