RespectLog

RespectLog is a mobile + web app for workers and vulnerable individuals to securely record dignity-related incidents (humiliation, coercion, unsafe treatment, discriminatory language) in a way that stands up to scrutiny. Users can capture a time-stamped note, optional audio, and supporting files, then lock it with tamper-evident hashing and encrypted backups. The app guides users through neutral, factual wording to avoid defamation traps and helps categorize incidents by type and severity. When ready, users can export a clean “incident packet” for HR, a union rep, an ombuds office, or a legal clinic, with redaction tools to protect identities. It also includes a “safety plan” checklist and trusted contacts for quick escalation. This is not a social network; it’s a private evidence and reporting workflow designed to reduce fear, confusion, and lost details.
