RetrofitBid is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps industrial and commercial sites plan and procure electrification projects that replace fossil-fuel equipment (boilers, heaters, process heat) with electric alternatives. Users enter a site profile, fuel usage, equipment age, and constraints; the app generates a retrofit scope, budget ranges, and a bid-ready RFP package. It then matches the project to qualified contractors, OEM partners, and financing/incentive programs, tracking responses in one place. An AI layer drafts scopes, compares bids apples-to-apples, flags missing safety/compliance items, and estimates payback under multiple energy-price scenarios. The product is brutally practical: it doesn’t “solve climate,” it reduces the time and confusion that stalls projects. Revenue comes from SaaS subscriptions for facility owners plus a success fee for closed projects (where legally allowed).
