RetroFitIQ is a web + mobile app (traditional app with AI-assisted analysis) that helps small commercial building owners and property managers choose energy-efficiency upgrades with credible ROI. Users upload 12 months of utility bills (PDF/CSV) and answer a short building profile (square footage, HVAC type, operating hours). The app normalizes usage for weather, flags obvious waste patterns (overnight baseload, demand spikes), and generates a ranked retrofit shortlist (LEDs, controls, HVAC tune-up, insulation, smart thermostats, VFDs) with estimated savings ranges, payback, and confidence level. It also produces a contractor-ready scope sheet and a simple measurement plan so savings claims can be verified. This is not a “smart home” toy; it’s a decision tool to avoid wasting money on upgrades that don’t pencil out. Expect conservative estimates and clear uncertainty, not magic numbers.
