RetrofitLens is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps small-to-mid commercial building owners and property managers pinpoint the highest-ROI energy upgrades without hiring a consultant first. Users upload 12 months of utility bills (PDF/CSV) and answer a short building profile (square footage, HVAC type, operating hours). The app benchmarks performance against similar buildings, flags likely waste drivers (after-hours baseload, poor scheduling, demand spikes), and produces a prioritized retrofit plan with rough costs, savings ranges, payback, and available rebates by ZIP code. It also generates a contractor-ready scope-of-work checklist and measurement plan so savings can be verified later. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional analytics for benchmarking and calculations, AI to extract bill data, summarize findings, and draft scopes. It’s realistic: it won’t “guarantee” savings—just narrow options and reduce decision paralysis.
