RetrofitProof is a web + mobile app that helps homeowners and contractors confirm whether a sustainability retrofit actually delivered measurable savings. Users connect utility accounts (electric/gas) and optionally upload thermostat/heat pump data, then the app normalizes usage for weather (degree days) and occupancy changes to estimate pre/post energy intensity. It generates a simple “Savings Verification” report: kWh/therms avoided, cost impact, payback range, and confidence score. Contractors can share reports with clients to reduce disputes and earn trust; homeowners can use it to decide which next upgrade is worth doing. This is not a magic audit replacement—data gaps and behavior changes can muddy results—but it’s a practical, lightweight measurement-and-verification tool that most retrofits currently lack.
