ReturnRadar is a web app (with optional mobile dashboard) that helps e-commerce merchants reduce refund losses by detecting high-risk returns early and standardizing decisions. It plugs into Shopify and major carriers to track return requests, package scans, delivery proofs, and refund status in one place. The app assigns a risk score to each return using rules plus lightweight AI: mismatched weights, suspicious scan gaps, repeat “item not received” claims, abnormal return rates by SKU, and photo evidence quality checks. It then recommends actions: auto-approve, request more info, route to manual review, or delay refund until carrier acceptance. ReturnRadar also generates customer-facing messages that are consistent and legally safer, and it keeps an audit trail for disputes. This is not a “make returns easy” tool; it’s a loss-prevention and policy enforcement layer that most SMBs lack.
