ReturnReady is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams integration) that helps companies and employees plan the messy part of sabbaticals: coming back. It creates a structured “return runway” with role changes, project handoffs, access reactivation, re-onboarding tasks, and a realistic ramp plan agreed by employee, manager, and HR. The app collects lightweight updates during leave (optional, privacy-respecting) and turns them into a return brief so the employee isn’t punished for being out of the loop. It also flags common failure points: role drift, team reorgs, missing system access, and unclear expectations. This is not a feel-good wellness tool; it’s operational hygiene that reduces churn and productivity loss. The MVP focuses on checklists, timelines, and approvals rather than trying to “manage” the sabbatical itself.
