ReturnRelay is a web app (with optional mobile companion) for Shopify/WooCommerce merchants that converts customer returns into recommerce listings instead of dead inventory. When a return is initiated, the app offers the customer an instant “resell it for me” option: they ship it to a partnered inspection hub (or merchant warehouse), the item is graded, photographed, and automatically listed across selected marketplaces. The customer gets a payout (or store credit boost), and the merchant earns a service fee plus recovers value from items that would otherwise be liquidated. The system tracks chain-of-custody, condition grades, and payout rules, and reconciles proceeds back to the merchant and customer. This is not a consumer marketplace; it’s a returns-to-resale workflow layer that plugs into existing commerce and marketplace rails. AI is used for condition detection suggestions and listing draft generation, but humans can override everything.
