ReturnRelay is a web app (with an optional lightweight mobile companion) that helps small-to-mid e-commerce brands reduce refund losses by managing the messy middle: carrier scans, warehouse intake, and refund timing. It connects to Shopify and major carriers, then creates a single “return truth” timeline per order. The app flags high-risk returns (lost-in-transit, label never scanned, delivered-not-received-back) and automatically pauses refunds until objective checkpoints are met—without making customers feel stonewalled. It also generates customer-facing status pages and templated support replies so agents stop reinventing explanations. This is not a magic fraud detector; it’s operational control and evidence collection that prevents premature refunds and speeds legitimate ones. Brands get dashboards for return cycle time, refund leakage, and carrier failure rates, plus dispute-ready documentation when something goes wrong.
