ReturnRelay is a web app with a lightweight mobile companion that lets small and mid-size online stores offer “instant returns” and exchanges without drowning in support emails. Shoppers start a return from a link, get an immediate decision (refund, exchange, store credit, or deny) based on clear rules, and receive a QR code for drop-off or a scheduled pickup. Merchants get a single dashboard that auto-generates labels, tracks package movement, and triggers refunds only when carrier scans occur (or when item condition is confirmed). An AI layer classifies return reasons, flags likely fraud/wardrobing patterns, and suggests policy tweaks (e.g., tighten windows on high-abuse SKUs) using store history. The goal is to reduce return handling time, cut refund leakage, and improve customer trust with transparent timelines. It integrates with common storefronts and shipping providers so merchants can go live quickly.
