ReturnRelay is a web + mobile app that fixes one of omnichannel retail’s ugliest gaps: returns that sit in limbo and poison inventory accuracy. Store associates scan a returned item, the app guides condition grading with a short checklist and photo capture, and it automatically routes the unit to the right disposition (restock, refurb, RTV, liquidation) while updating available-to-promise across channels. It also triggers the right workflows: print labels, create transfer tasks, and notify e-commerce when an item is sellable again. The AI component flags likely fraud (wardrobing, swapped items) and predicts resale value and best channel based on condition and demand. Dashboards show “return-to-shelf time,” shrink risk, and where inventory is stuck. This is not glamorous, but it’s operationally measurable and directly tied to margin.
