ReturnRelay is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that helps mid-sized e-commerce brands reduce return rates and return fraud without killing conversion. It plugs into Shopify and WooCommerce to analyze order, customer, and product signals, then recommends the least risky return path: instant refund, exchange-only, store credit, delayed refund after inspection, or deny with evidence. The AI component flags high-risk patterns (wardrobing, serial returners, empty-box claims) and generates clear, compliant customer messaging plus internal case notes. It also surfaces product-level root causes—size issues, misleading photos, packaging damage—so teams can fix the upstream problems driving returns. This isn’t a “magic fraud stopper”; it’s a decision engine and workflow layer that makes returns cheaper, faster, and more consistent across support, ops, and finance.
