ReturnRoute is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion for warehouse scans) that helps ecommerce and 3PL teams reduce the cost and time of customer returns by dynamically selecting the best return path: carrier, label type, consolidation point, and disposition (restock, refurbish, liquidate, recycle). Instead of treating returns as a fixed label workflow, it uses rules plus AI-assisted decisioning to predict the cheapest compliant option that still meets SLA and customer experience targets. It plugs into Shopify, Amazon (where allowed), and major 3PL/WMS systems, then generates return labels, QR codes, or drop-off instructions. It also flags high-risk returns (fraud patterns, empty box risk) and recommends verification steps. The dashboard shows savings per SKU, per region, and per carrier, and highlights which policies (free returns, keep-it items, returnless refunds) are bleeding margin.
